We are in partnership with English Business, a company based in Seoul. English Business inspects all schools before we offer positions to candidates. Michelle Kim, Director of English Business, has over 15 years experience with English programmes in Korea.

Our Mission Statement

ESL Opportunities was the first Irish company to send graduates to teach in South Korea and has been placing candidates since 2000 and is now expanding into China. We send on average 20 graduates per month to South Korea to teach in private language institutes. We are now also arranging placements in children's camps and public schools. We pride ourselves on being a small company, specialising in teacher placement in Asia. Our positive teacher feedback attests to our dedication to do as much as possible to ensure that our teachers have a positive experience.

We give full training pre-departure, we offer candidates a 40/60 hour TEFL Course and an Orientation Work-Shop to familiarise teachers with Korean lifestyle, culture, work ethos and social etiquette. As a small company, we strive to keep teaching placements in Korea affordable and unlike other agencies, our fees are kept to a minimum, and go directly towards teacher training. Also uniquely we interview all candidates, and accept only those we feel will adapt well to their role as English Language Teachers in Korea, this ensures that we are known in Korea for sending quality teachers.
