TEFL Course

Our 60 Hour On Line TEFL courses are run in conjunction with TEFL House and are recognised by all our schools and will add an important qualification to your resume should you decide to continue working in the English Language Field.

60 Hour On-line TEFL Course with Graded Certificate

This is an on-line e-learning course. It is ideal for candidates who want more convenient/flexible TEFL training. You can log onto the course and study it in own time, at your own pace, students have 6 weeks from date of enrolment to complete the course and a course assignment (including a lesson plan), is to be submitted for grading. Candidates who already have an equivalent TEFL qualification pay a reduced fee of €200 which includes an Orientation Work-Shop.

Orientation Booklet

Each candidate will be provided with an Orientation Booklet. It contains useful facts on Korea, cultural insight, useful Korean phrases, and for those who haven't attended the TEFL course, useful teaching tips and activities etc.

Schools also provide In-House Training on arrival. All schools give new teachers some orientation and training. It is in their interest that you are as well prepared as possible before you begin to teach. Depending on the size and ethos of the school, this training can vary widely. Some schools allow new teachers to observe more experienced teachers classes for a few days. Other schools have a full week of training organised, where the Director of Studies will take the new teachers through the ins and outs of teaching in the school and this is often combined with one to one mentoring and class observations.
