About the Role
Tawan Sprouts, a Waldorf-inspired social enterprise, is seeking a passionate and nurturing Early Childhood Teacher to join its growing team in Bangkok. You will work with mixed-age groups (1.5–6 years old), supporting children through play-based, holistic, and emotionally responsive learning.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven, start-up environment focused on community, creativity, and meaningful education.
Key Details
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Student Age Group: 1.5–6 years (mixed-age classrooms)
Schedule: 5 days per week (Monday–Saturday), approx. 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Class Size: Small groups
Contract: 1-year renewable (includes 3-month probation)
Start Date: May 2026
Your Responsibilities
Plan and lead engaging, play-based learning experiences
Create a warm, nurturing, and emotionally supportive classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
Collaborate with colleagues and families to build a strong community
Organise seasonal festivals, events, and parent engagement activities
Contribute creatively to the development of a growing learning centre
Participate in ongoing professional development in Waldorf and inclusive practices

Requirements
Essential:
Fluent English speaker
Early childhood training or relevant teaching experience
Eligibility for a Thai work visa
Strong collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
Experience or openness to working with diverse learners (including neurodivergent children)
Creative, flexible, and growth-oriented mindset
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Genuine interest in child development, social impact, and Waldorf-inspired education
Preferred:
Experience in Waldorf or Waldorf-inspired settings
Knowledge of Thai or another language
Experience organising community events or parent engagement activities
