Empire English Online, a global education provider operating in the UK, Europe, Australia, South America, and Asia, seeks 25+ dedicated English tutors for freelance, part-time remote positions to deliver exceptional online lessons for Ukrainian refugees and learners worldwide, including children and adults. You’ll teach Cambridge exams (Young Learners: Starters, Movers, Flyers; Adults: A2 Key, B1 PET, B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency), IELTS, Business English, and General English. Requirements:

  • Hold TEFL, CELTA, or DELTA qualifications (CELTA/DELTA and MA in Education preferred).

  • Demonstrate fluent English suitable for teaching Cambridge exams, IELTS, Business English, and General English.

  • Possess excellent organisational and teaching skills, including lesson planning, attendance tracking, and progress reporting.

  • Show proven teaching experience as a mature professional, with patience and cultural sensitivity to foster inclusive learning environments.

  • As freelancers, tutors are responsible for their own taxes.

Compensation: £25–£40 per 50-minute class, based on qualifications. Responsibilities: Deliver group and one-to-one online lessons to diverse learners, including Ukrainian refugees and global students, ensuring engaging and supportive learning experiences.

  6. How do you manage administrative tasks such as lesson planning, attendance tracking, and progress reporting in a freelance, part-time teaching role? Provide a specific example.

  7. What experience do you have delivering online lessons (group and one-to-one) for children or adults in Cambridge exams, IELTS, Business English, or General English? List platforms you’re proficient in (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
