VUS is one of the biggest language centers in the South of Vietnam with the majority of its English schools in Ho Chi Minh City. They have consistently been one of the biggest employers of English teachers in Vietnam. Currently, VUS employs over 3,000 English teaching professionals to teach English in Vietnam.
They are expanding to new locations each year with English schools in Hanoi, Bien Hoa, Binh Duong, Da Nang, and Vung Tau.
VUS is currently looking for full-time/part-time English-speaking teachers who can take on a wide variety of ages (predominantly with 6-16 year olds) during both weekends and weeknights at their centers.
About the Position:
Location: Vietnam
Teaching schedule: As with most language centers who teach English in Vietnam, they mainly operate outside of regular school and work hours. The majority of their classes take place at weekends and during weekday evenings, although they do also run some daytime classes too.
Duties:
Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities and organized lessons with provided materials ( Lesson plan submission is not a requirement).
Actively engage in professional development and performance management to ensure the level of teaching meets the learner needs and quality standards at VUS.
Motivate students to actively study to reach their outcomes quickly and effectively.
Participate in program briefings/meetings/sharing sessions.
Maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues.

Competitive hourly wage: VUS offers 450,000 VND per hour (GROSS/before tax) as standard for most new expat teachers.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate
Native level of English proficiency (If you are a non-native English speaker, they will consider your application if you provide an introduction video.)
