Established in 2009, Hanoi Academy is Hanoi’s first K–12 bilingual school and a registered Edexcel Examination Centre. The school currently serves over 1,000 students, delivering a bilingual education that integrates Vietnam’s National Curriculum with the British Edexcel Curriculum, including iGCSEs and A-Levels.

About the Position

Location: Ciputra, Hanoi, Vietnam

Contract Length: 2 years (renewable)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teach assigned subject(s) in line with the school curriculum and the individual needs of students and student groups.

• Maintain effective classroom management and uphold student discipline in accordance with school policies.

• Assess, record, and monitor student progress systematically; prepare and communicate reports on students’ academic performance, development, attainment, and behavior to parents and relevant stakeholders.

• Contribute actively to the wider school community, including participation in assemblies, meetings, marketing initiatives, and school events.

• Establish and maintain positive, professional working relationships with colleagues, students, and parents, ensuring collaboration in the best interests of students and the school.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English Education, Business, Economics, or a related field

• UK training or experience working within a British Curriculum school

• Minimum of two years’ full-time professional teaching experience, preferably with iGCSE, AS-Level, or A-Level

• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

• Demonstrated academic strength, professional experience, strong interview performance, and positive references
