ECC – English Language Teaching Opportunities in Japan

ECC is now seeking qualified English teachers to join its growing team in Japan.
About the Position

Location: Japan
Type: Full-time
Contract: Runs to the end of the academic year (March); renewable. Minimum 12-month commitment required.
Start Dates: Available year-round
Students: From young learners to retirees, with diverse backgrounds and learning goals
Class Sizes: Up to 10 for young learners; up to 12 for adults
Schedule: Mostly afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Adult classes: 40–80 minutes
Young learner classes: 30–60 minutes

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following:
Bachelor’s degree (any field)
Native English speaker (English-medium education through high school)
Valid passport from an English-speaking country (or ability to obtain one)
Able to attend a 1-day recruitment session
Able to start in Japan within the next 3–12 months
Able to commit to one full contract year
Sufficient relocation funds (ECC recommends at least 200,000 yen)
