About Us

iWorld Learning is a leading language education centre committed to helping learners of all ages achieve their English proficiency goals. We are seeking experienced and passionate English Language Tutors to teach young learners and prepare them for school entrance exams and international proficiency tests, including MOE syllabus, KET, PET, AEIS, IGCSE, IELTS, and other academic assessments.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

• Prepare students for exams such as KET, PET, AEIS, IGCSE, IELTS, and other entrance assessments.

• Identify each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, creating customised lesson plans to support their progress.

• Use diverse teaching resources—digital tools, worksheets, and real-world activities—to maintain motivation and interest.

• Track and evaluate student performance, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

• Conduct lessons according to the agreed schedule with professionalism and consistency.

• Maintain communication with the sales team regarding student progress and recommendations for improvement.

Schedule

• Kids Private Lessons: Mon–Fri, between 12:00–20:00

• Kids Group Classes: Twice weekly, 16:30–18:30

• Saturdays: 10:00–18:00

Job Type: Part-time / FreelancePay: $35–$45 per hourExpected Hours: 4–40 per week

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field

• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL certification

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience with children

• Proven success preparing students for KET, PET, AEIS, IGCSE, IELTS, or local school exams

• Experience with school entrance exam preparation is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong ability to engage and motivate young learners

• Familiarity with exam formats, assessment criteria, and test-taking strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Adaptability to various learning styles

• Patient, reliable, and passionate about education

Additional Requirements

• Ability to teach both online and in-person preferred

• Experience with Zoom, Google Classroom, and other digital tools

• Experience teaching both kids and adults is a plus
