Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ESL Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons that support students learning English as a second language. This role requires strong communication skills, effective lesson planning, and the ability to cultivate an inclusive, supportive learning environment where students can develop confidence and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning needs.

• Teach core English language skills: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation.

• Integrate educational technology to create interactive and engaging lessons.

• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment that supports language acquisition.

• Provide tutoring or additional support for students needing extra help.

• Communicate regularly with students and families regarding progress and improvement strategies.

• Adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles and special education needs.

• Participate in professional development to stay updated on ESL best practices.

Experience & Skills

• Prior ESL teaching experience (especially with adults) preferred.

• Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.

• Bilingual ability—particularly Spanish—is a plus.

• Familiarity with special education practices is beneficial.

• Effective classroom management capabilities.

• Experience using technology to deliver dynamic, engaging lessons is highly desirable.
