They are currently seeking qualified teachers to join their school system, the Pennsylvania American School System (PENN), located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

About the Position

Campus Locations:

• Campus 240 Tran Binh TrongNo. 240 Tran Binh Trong Street, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City

• Campus 10 Ba Thang HaiNo. 10 Ba Thang Hai Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and interactive instruction to students

• Develop and distribute learning materials

• Prepare, supervise, and grade exams, quizzes, and assignments

• Promote and model the school’s behavioral and moral standards

• Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress

• Monitor, assess, and record students’ academic performance and provide feedback

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-managed classroom

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders in regular meetings

• Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and conferences

• Provide class coverage for absent teachers when necessary

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Principals

Work Schedule:40 hours per week — Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements

• Native-level English proficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s degree preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience at an international or bilingual school (secondary or upper-secondary level)

• Strong initiative and creativity to improve workplace efficiency

• High level of IT proficiency

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and school staff

• Solid understanding of effective teaching and learning theories, plus the ability to meet diverse learning needs through organization, differentiation, and varied methodologies
